Do you clean small courtyard patios in Redhill?

Walls are done gently, typically as a soft wash rather than a pressure wash, particularly on older mortar.
My patio holds puddles after rain. Will cleaning stop that?
Only if the puddling is caused by blocked drainage, in which case clearing the channel drain or gully will help. If the patio simply falls the wrong way or has settled, that is a levels problem and no amount of cleaning changes it. Which one it is tends to be obvious to somebody who has spent the day watching where the water runs.
How do you protect the drains when cleaning a patio?
Grit and cleaning residue want keeping out of them as far as the site allows. That means sweeping silt up instead of flushing it into the nearest gully, covering open drains where it is practical, and directing run-off away from surface water drains. It is a small amount of extra care that saves a blocked gully later.
